Bellydance

Technique for Beginners, Level 1 and 2, Finger Cymbals, Choreography workshops and rehearsals 
Anna has been bellydancing since 1993 and is the UK representative for the Salimpour School of Dance. She takes regular field trips to Egypt, the Middle East and the US  to study and develop her skills and is pursuing her Level 5 certificate in SSBD Format and Level 4 certificate in  JSBD Format. She has been teaching internationally since 1997 and is passionate about making bellydance an accessible and respected art form in the UK.
Anna teaches introduction through advanced level weekly classes in Suhaila Format and weekend classes and workshops in Jamila Format, choreography and dancing with live music. See website  for further details and information on upcoming classes and events.

a Morenita (Michelle Carrier) is a professional flamenco dancer currently based in London, UK where she has been a soloist and a major creative force behind the popular flamenco group Sumaya Flamenco for the past five years. With a strong background in ballet and contemporary dance she began performing flamenco in 1996. She has since performed around the UK in art centres, theatres, festivals including at Glastonbury, Latitude and Musicport and in 2009 she opened as a soloist with Sumaya for Carmen Linares at the Barbican Blaze series. Her performances in Spain have included important venues in Jerez and Cadiz such as La Peña de Bulerias, La Peña de Cernicalos, La Peña Flamenca Perla de Cadiz and in recent years has performed as a soloist in the Sala de Compania in Jerez on the invitation of Manuela Carpio. She continues to return to Jerez regularly to continue her studies and further develop her art.

​TWERKFIT® is a dance fitness class, brought to you by TWERK IT OUT, to help you tone and tighten whilst shaking what your mama gave ya! Classes last one hour and include strength and cardiovascular exercises, mixed in with dance tutorials, to really make you sweat. All this whilst listening to a mix of new and old-school RnB, Bashment, Garage and Hip Hop!

WHAT DOES THE CLASS INVOLVE?
All workouts feature warm-ups & stretches, twerk tutorials, dance combinations and twerk circuits... finished with a slow, cool-down track to bring your heart back down to earth. Classes are excellent for strengthening and shaping legs & back in addition to improving your overall fitness level and losing weight. You can expect to burn between 300-600 calories per hour...make sure you track us on your FitBit! Our studio is only two mins walk from Brixton Station and also has parking! Find us in the pink 'Link' building!

This is a class for you, the mums. It's designed to help reintroduce movement to your body in a safe way, all while your baby plays on the mat beside you. I have done extensive training in postnatal wellness and the class sizes are small, so you can be sure and get the attention you need. We will focus on rebuilding your core strength and stability, moving mindfully and increasing your overall flexibility. The class is suitable for mums who are minimum 6 weeks post delivery and their pre-crawling babies.
